Der Vortrag über und mit Musik von Siegfried Wagner wurde leider kurzfristig abgesagt!
Die amerikanische Sopranistin Rebecca Broberg spricht (in englischer Sprache) am Freitag, den 6. Oktober 2023 über einige Aspekte in Siegfried Wagners Werken und gestaltet gemeinsam mit Christian Biskup am Klavier ein außerordentlich umfangreiches Programm:

In der ursprünglichen Ankündigung des Vortrags hieß es:
The topic of German American relations is huge, rich and complex. American music lovers have flocked to Bayreuth since Richard Wagner’s (1813 – 1883) Bayreuth Festival began in 1876. The heir to the festival, Siegfried Wagner, the son of Richard and Cosima Wagner, wrote even more operas than his father did.
The referent is a (Siegfried) Wagnerian soprano and has portrayed more leading roles in his operas than any other singer alive, as well as having recorded his complete songs.
She will introduce you to the composer and his music by looking at some of his heroines and their quests for happiness. (With musical examples.)
